Here you will find details of popular activities available at the Finca. We have tried to use a "case study" type approach with real reports from real visitors! We begin with trekking and walking activities. More will be added over the forthcoming months.

1. Trekking.

On the way from Madrid to Lisbon, travel groups from "Gomera Trekking Tours" made a break at Finca Santa Marta. Here's a report from group leader Michael Seebach from Hamburg, Germany, following their visit to the Finca in May 2002.

	"The Finca is a ideal place to get to know and to visit Extremadura, the nature park Monfragüe, the Rio Tajo as well as some towns like Trujillo, Cáceres and Mérida. Particularly we were impressed by the number of storks in El Gordo (Photo below, between Toledo and Trujillo), but also in many other places." "The nice atmosphere at the Finca is very good to relax after the hiking tours and sightseeing trips. Even the five dogs look after the guests. They bark extremely rarely and they escort the guests at the hiking tours nearby (in the surroundings). It's lovely! You should go!" (Comments by Michael Seebach, Hamburg)
